This eye-catching piece has a chrome plated metal swivel crossbase. The rounded design of the seat gives it a very nice appeal as well as seating comfort. It it newly upholstered in beautiful quality cognac leather (Rustik Leather) which compliments the style really well. This combination of elegance with modern design, is what makes this chair a highly recognizable Jacobsen design. An inviting and most recognizable piece of Danish design that would be a truly valuable addition to the decor!
labeled on the frame and seat as shown in photos.
The piece remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. The wear to the leather really adds to it’s patina!
Arne Jacobsen (1902-1971) was one of Denmark’s most influential 20th century architects and designers. Both his buildings and products, like his swan and egg chairs, combine modernist ideals with a Nordic love of naturalism.
