A rare B.T. series promotional table lamp by Studio A.R.D.I.T.I. and Gianni Gamberini, manufactured by Sormani in in Italy in 1971.
This eye-catching lamp was purchased directly from Studio A.R.D.I.T.I. founder Duccio Trassinelli. Made of high quality stainless still in geometric shape, supporting the light source. This contains two bulbs connected by a metal wire thread. They can be attached and removed from the top by hand, being held in place by a their magnetic force. Each light only works when the other part is placed on the other side of the base, as the lamp itself is the collider! The lights can be rearranged according to the users preference. It’s a very clever and appealing design with a very unique style, and it emits a beautiful light when lit! All together this is an eye-catching piece that will be a highly valuable addition to any decor.
The piece comes with a signed certificate of authenticity by the designer and a copy of the title page of the patent.
It remains in very good condition with only very minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a fantastic patina!
