This is a very rare pair of early model “Fiorenza” chairs. An iconic design by Franco Albini, manufactured by Arflex in Italy in 1956.
This version was designed without the crossed legs that the first edition from 1952 had. Extremely rare and absolutely beautiful! They have been produced for only a very limited time, after which the model was designed with the crossed legs again.
The elegant curves of the wooden frame contrast nicely to the light fabric of the seat, back and armrests. This all gives the piece a beautiful luxurious style and impressive seating comfort. Designed with a truly fantastic eye for detail.
The set remains in very good, vintage condition with only minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
